😒Gas is on everyone’s lips. ‘Transition technology’, ‘energy security’ or even ‘clean gas’ are circulating as buzzwords.
Although it is just as much a fossil fuel as oil or coal, it is supposed to help tackle the climate crisis – sounds too good to be true? It is!
❗️We’re going to take a closer look at the propaganda lies spread by the energy lobbies.
But gas isn’t just a climate killer. It also plays a central role in many of the bloody wars of our time, from Ukraine and Syria to Iran.

😒Gas ist in aller Munde. "Übergangstechnologie", "Energiesicherheit" oder sogar "Sauberes Gas" kursieren als Schlagwörter.
Obwohl es genauso ein fossiler Brennstoff ist wie Öl oder Kohle, soll es helfen die Klimakrise in den Griff zu kriegen - klingt zu gut um wahr zu sein? Ist es auch!
❗️Wir werden uns die Propagandalügen der Energielobbys genauer anschauen.
Aber Gas ist nicht nur ein Klimakiller. Auch in vielen der blutigen Kriege unserer Zeit, von der Ukraine, über Syrien bis zum Iran spielt Gas eine zentrale Rolle.

This summer will be anti-militarist, and we need you to make it happen!
The Berlin Alliance Against Arms Production, comprising over 20 organisations, is calling for nationwide days of action against war on 10–11 July.
The occasion is the start of munitions production at the Rheinmetall plant in Wedding.
This marks the first time since the Second World War that military equipment has been manufactured in Berlin again, and right in the heart of the capital.
The arms factory in our neighbourhood is symbolic of a general trend towards rearmament and militarisation in Germany and Europe, which we must oppose together.
To fill the days of action and the weeks leading up to them with many powerful and creative actions, we call on all organisations that are active against rearmament and social cuts, or wish to become so, to get involved.

Der Sommer wird antimilitaristisch und dafür brauchen wir euch!
Das Berliner Bündnis gegen Waffenproduktion, bestehend aus über 20 Organisationen, ruft für den 10.-11. Juli bundesweit zu Aktionstagen gegen Krieg auf.
Anlass ist der Beginn der Munitionsproduktion im Rheinmetall-Werk im Wedding.
Damit wird zum ersten Mal seit dem zweiten Weltkrieg in Berlin wieder Kriegsgerät hergestellt, und das mitten im Herzen der Hauptstadt.
Die Waffenfabrik in unserem Kiez steht stellvertretend für einen allgemeinen Trend der Aufrüstung und Militarisierung in Deutschland und Europa, dem wir uns gemeinsam entgegen setzen müssen.

🕯🖤Memorial rally marking the 14th anniversary of his death🖤🕯Burak Bektaş was shot dead in Berlin outside Neukölln Hospital on the night of 4–5 April 2012. He was 22 years old.
Four of his friends survived the attempted murder; two of them were critically injured.
The crime bears similarities to the murders committed by the neo-Nazi network NSU.
Was racism also the motive behind this murder?
The murder of Burak and the four attempted murders remain unsolved to this day. The killer has not been identified.
For decades, migrants, left-wingers and anti-fascists in Neukölln have not only been attacked with impunity, but the perpetrators can apparently also count on protection, tolerance or at least a turning of a blind eye.

🕯🖤Gedenkkundgebung zum 14. Todestag🖤🕯Burak Bektaş wurde in der Nacht vom 4. auf den 5. April 2012 in Berlin vor dem Krankenhaus Neukölln erschossen. Er war 22 Jahre alt.
4 seiner Freunde haben den Mordversuch überlebt, 2 von ihnen wurden lebensgefährlich verletzt.
Die Tat ähnelt den Morden des Neonazi-Netzwerks NSU.
War das Motiv auch bei diesem Mord Rassismus?
Der Mord an Burak und die vier Mordversuche sind bis heute nicht aufgeklärt. Der Mörder wurde nicht ermittelt.
Seit Jahrzehnten werden migrantisierte, linke und antifaschistische Menschen in Neukölln nicht nur ungehindert angegriffen, sondern die Täter können sich offenbar auch auf Schutz, Duldung oder zumindest auf Wegsehen verlassen.
