🌍 Boundless solidarity: Focus on feminist networks.
On 8 April, we invite you to Café Cralle. We start at 7.30 pm.
In the current climate, it is important to us to show feminist and internationalist solidarity.
The focus of the evening will be on sharing knowledge about anti-femi(ni)cide work and feminist struggles at various levels.
✊ @women_defend_rojava are doing vital political work to raise the profile of the Kurdish women’s* revolution and regularly report on the current situation of the war in northern and eastern Syria.
Look forward to their talk!
💡 In the second part of the evening, we’re hosting a quiz. There are prizes to be won and solidarity wristbands available to buy.
We also welcome donations, which will go to the “Women Defend Rojava” campaign.

In den aktuellen Zeiten ist es uns wichtig, feministische und internationalistische Solidarität zu zeigen.
An dem Abend steht ein Wissensaustausch zu Anti-Femi(ni)zid-Arbeit und feministischen Kämpfen auf verschiedenen Ebenen im Vordergrund.
✊ @women_defend_rojava leisten wichtige politische Arbeit für die Sichtbarkeit der kurdischen Frauen*revolution und berichten regelmäßig über die aktuelle Situation des Krieges in Nord- und Ostsyrien.
Seid gespannt auf ihren Vortrag!
💡 Im zweiten Teil des Abends laden wir zu einem Quiz ein. Es gibt Preise zu gewinnen und Soli-Armbänder zu erwerben.

World Rom*nja Day commemorates the first World Romani Congress in 1971, at which Rom*nja determined their own self-designation, flag and voice.
It stands for the remembrance of persecution, but equally for presence, dignity and self-representation in the present.
But what rights do Rom*nja actually have today – and how does the current deprivation of rights manifest itself?
Against the backdrop of the ongoing memorial debate and the unfinished Deutsche Bahn project, we will address current conflicts surrounding the politics of remembrance.
The short film “Interruption of Remembrance” by Estera Stan will be screened. Following this, we will hold a panel discussion on structural and remembrance-related issues, as well as the significance of responsibility and the present.

Der Welt-Rom*nja-Tag erinnert an den ersten Welt-Romani-Kongress 1971, bei dem Rom*nja ihre Selbstbezeichnung, Flagge und Stimme bestimmten.
Er steht für Erinnerung an Verfolgung, aber ebenso für Präsenz, Würde und Selbstrepräsentation in der Gegenwart.
Doch welche Rechte haben Rom*nja heute tatsächlich – und wie zeigt sich gegenwärtige Entrechtung?
Vor dem Hintergrund der anhaltenden Mahnmals-Debatte und des nicht abgeschlossenen Projekts der Deutschen Bahn widmen wir uns aktuellen erinnerungspolitischen Konflikten.
Gezeigt wird der Kurzfilm „Unterbrechung des Gedenkens“ von Estera Stan. Anschließend diskutieren wir auf einem Panel strukturelle und erinnerungspolitische Fragen sowie die Bedeutung von Verantwortung und Gegenwart.

Together with Dr Dietmar Lange, historian and expert on the labour movement, we will shed light on the development of trade unions from their beginnings to the present day: from the first attempts to organise to state repression and attempts at division to their destruction under fascism and their reorganisation after 1945.

After the last open meetings have dealt with organising, political strike and power analyses, we want to go into an exchange with colleagues from the KiTa strike.
The colleague will first tell us something about how the campaigning and public relations work took place during the KiTa strike.
She will also tell us what role communication with parents plays, especially in relation to the strike.
We want to gather experiences and think together about what the starting points for social work can be, but also what differences there are in terms of campaigning, organising and strike power.
As always, we are also open to your topics and concerns!
We want to support each other, organise and advise each other so that we can go into our day-to-day work stronger and/or use this for targeted political disputes.

Nachdem die letzten offenen Treffen sich mit Organizing, Politischem Streik und Machtanalysen befasst haben, wollen wir in den Austausch gehen mit Kolleginnen vom KiTa Streik.
Dabei wird uns die Kollegin zunächst etwas darüber erzählen, wie die Kampagnenarbeit und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit beim KiTa Streik ablief.
Außerdem welche Rolle die Kommunikation zu den Eltern spielt, v.a. in Bezug auf Streik.
Wir wollen Erfahrungen sammeln und gemeinsam überlegen, was Anknüpfungspunkte für die Soziale Arbeit sein können, aber auch welche Unterschiede bzgl. Kampagne, Organizing und Streikmacht bestehen.
Wie immer sind wir auch offen für eure Themen und Anliegen!
Wir wollen uns gegenseitig unterstützen, uns organisieren und beraten, um gestärkt in unseren betrieblichen Alltag zu gehen und/oder diesen gezielt für politische Auseinandersetzungen zu nutzen.

ROMADAY is a day of celebration: we celebrate the power of our communities and commemorate the first World Roma* Congress in 1971, the beginning of our global emancipation movement.
But ROMADAY is also a day of struggle: on 8 April, we take to the streets - against racism, austerity policies and remilitarisation. We, Sinti* and Roma*, have always been part of the resistance.
We fought as partisans - and we are still fighting today.
Against forgetting. Against the instrumentalisation of our stories. For visibility, justice and artistic freedom.
