Oppression is something that connects us worldwide. Experiences that we share collectively.

Oppression is systematic. Not only here, but everywhere in the world. From restricted education, self-determination and forced marriage. From domestic violence and femicide to sexualised violence as a weapon of war.

All of these are consequences of the capitalist and patriarchal system in which we live and which profits from our oppression. As abstract as it sounds, it determines our reality, our behaviour, our lives.

In der Kunstausstellung „Feuer im Haus der Dunkelheit“ wollen wir gemeinsam mit euch den Weg von Unterdrückung, zu Wut, zu Widerstand durchlaufen.

Unterdrückung ist etwas, was uns weltweit verbindet. Erfahrungen, die wir kollektiv teilen.

Unterdrückung ist systematisch. Nicht nur hier bei uns, sondern überall auf der Welt. Von eingeschränkter Bildung, Selbstbestimmung und Zwangsheirat. Von häuslicher Gewalt, zu Femiziden bis hin zu sexualisierter Gewalt als Kriegswaffe.

All das sind Folgen des kapitalistischen und patriarchalen Systems, in dem wir leben und das von unserer Unterdrückung profitiert. So abstrakt es klingt, es bestimmt unsere Realität, unser Verhalten, unser Leben.

Wir wollen am Vortag bei der Friedensstatue Ari gemeinsam eine Mahnwache in Gedenken an die Opfer sexualisierter Gewalt abhalten.

Begleitet wird dies wieder von Tanz- und Trommelgruppen.

Alle sind herzlich eingeladen zwischen 13 und 14 Uhr zum ZK/U zu kommen und bei der Mahnwache teilzunehmen.

Gerne dürfen auch Blumen für die kämpferischen und verstorbenen "Trostfrauen" mitgebracht werden, um deren Mut zu gedenken.

Unterdrückung ist etwas, was uns weltweit verbindet. Erfahrungen, die wir kollektiv teilen.

Unterdrückung ist systematisch. Nicht nur hier bei uns, sondern überall auf der Welt. Von eingeschränkter Bildung, Selbstbestimmung und Zwangsheirat. Von häuslicher Gewalt, zu Femiziden bis hin zu sexualisierter Gewalt als Kriegswaffe.

All das sind Folgen des kapitalistischen und patriarchalen Systems, in dem wir leben und das von unserer Unterdrückung profitiert. So abstrakt es klingt, es bestimmt unsere Realität, unser Verhalten, unser Leben.
