Flore Benguigui & The Sensible Notes - i-330

Every now and then an Album comes out that shapes what i listen to for months on end. And this is one of those.

When i first spotted it I though "oh this looks fun" only after reading a bit into it I realized, who Flore Benguigui was I read up on her story and am so happy that she put out an Album like this now!

Okay, But what makes this so special you ask? It's just a few more or less known Jazz Standards? - Well yes, but the way they are interpreted and played feels so accessible, so fun and inviting.

When I say it changed how I listen to music I mean that my focus shifted a bit, it kinda inspired me to, firstly pick up my guitar and noodle along for hours, but also to listen to more Jazz again and I really appreciate that.

Tocotronic - Digital ist Besser

This time a German Indie Classic! I love this album it's simple, it's raw and it has some great lyrics!

Idk usually I have more to say but this one just really makes me feel like writing my own music, so thats that :3

Weatherday - Come In

Miau, i love this so muuchh! Wish i could write music like this! It is raw, somewhat lofi, goes from minimalist cutsie sounding to a full on wall of sound in seconds and it just expresses sooo much raw emotion :3

Really the whole discography of Sputnik (this is the artists name) is amazing!! They are sooo cool! I picked this record, because it has the song "My Sputnik Sweetheart" on it which never fails to make me cry, but in a good way ​:nkoaww:​

Yeule - Evangelic Girl Is a Gun

I own evey single yeule album there is on vinyl. So when this newest one came out i kinda had to get it. And like with their previous work, i did not regret it one bit.

This time around tho the style is a bit different. Where yeules older work was more in a glitchy cybersomething vaporwave webcore style (idk how to describe it better) this one is more triphoppy. But that doesnt make it worse. If anything the songs fit so welk together that it just feels like this album is like turning a page. Its noticeably still the same book, sounding glitchy and cyberpunky as heck, but it's also different.
