Ah yes, Azure DevOps—
where every git fetch is a thrilling game of chance. Will it work? Will it hang?
Will SSH just… silently time out for 3 minutes?Modern SSH keys? Absolutely not.
But intermittent connection failures?
Delivered reliably, several times a day. -

Anyone else seeing changes to how #AzureDevOps swap slots are working? Ours has started restarting the App Service on swap. That defeats the whole purpose since it is then down for the 2 minutes while it restarts.

CW: software dev, vent, Microsoft
We are entering 2026 without support for ed25519 SSH keys in #Microsoft's enterprise project management software #AzureDevOps.
But I guess ssh-rsa is secure enough.
Let's ignore that it has been deprecated in OpenSSH for years now and that git warns about it with each and every push and fetch operation."AI" development is way more important, I guess.
Fuck this company.

I can't believe how good the Azure DevOps Plugin for IntelliJ by @jgafner is.
It's got all the features you can think of so you never have to use the Azure DevOps web UI again. Especially being able stay in the IDE for PR code reviews is very helpful.
Anyone who has to work with Azure DevOps and uses a JetBrains IDE should check it out.

AI is reshaping Azure DevOps pipelines—predictive builds, smarter testing, faster deployments, and stronger DevSecOps. 🚀
If you're into cloud engineering or CI/CD, this breakdown shows how AI is transforming modern development. -
DevOps platforms continue to introduce hidden risks — from exposed secrets and token theft to CI/CD pipeline abuse and accidental deletions.
The Shared Responsibility Model reinforces that teams must secure their own data, permissions, and backups across GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket & Azure DevOps.
Which control do you consider most essential today: MFA, least privilege, immutable backups, or CI/CD hardening?
Follow TechNadu for more threat and defense insights.

Has anyone ever successfully created a pull request using the #azuredevops official SDK ?
I'm trying to add support of this feature on my https://github.com/candoumbe/Pipelines but I can't figure out the right way to do it.I want to add support for that repository so that I could use it both at work and for personal stuff.
Also I'm planning on adding #forgejo so ... if you wanna contribute ...

Why is it that the System.AccessToken in #azuredevops is available in a bash block set to targetType = inline but not in a targetType = filepath
This is such a random behaviour. Well at least describing for ado
