Once at the terminus at #Aylsham on the #BVR we made our way to the caféteria where a posh #MothersDay tea was waiting to be served. Unfortunately, I was so busy eating that I forgot to take a picture of the #food when it arrived.

After #Colitishall you cross the #RiverBure at #Buxton and then pass through a #tunnel just outside #Aylsham.

The #BVR is a 15" gauge line and we started out from #Wroxham, within the #Broads #NationalPark headed for #Aylsham.

Spotted #Aylsham Workhouse, #Norfolk today...it wasn’t what I was expecting a workhouse to look like in my mind’s eye - tall and architecturally quite ornate. But then I guess most of them have been pulled down, so there is little to remind us of those grim times.
