The #Ayatollahs of #Tehran and #Qom are going to subject their citizens hardships which will rival that of #IranIraq war of 1980s. Perpetual conflict and massacres of its own citizens are the only way to maintain their hold over power.

For #Trump, #Iran has to be seen to be submitting to his will and concede defeat. For #Iran it has to outlast #DJT for another 4-6 weeks. #Iran need not win any battle against #US just like #Vietcong and #Taliban. Post the 4-6 weeks damage to the world economy and petrodollar would be severe.
Worse if #US walks away declaring victory while Iran is still run by #Ayatollahs the blowback on #GCC countries and #Israel would be #tremendous.
