Picked up a new to me board game from the local auction house today - Axis & Allies by Milton Bradley from 1984.
The box has seen better days, and the auctioneer said he believed it was missing 3 pieces. I'm not going to spend the time to count them. But I know it was missing the instructions - and wonder if that was part of the 3 things it is missing.
Not having the original instructions is a bummer, but I found them on the internet. -
Well, that was fun. Not as overly complex as I thought it was, it was very similar to #AxisAndAllies.
We didn't even finish 3 turns, but we spent quite some time figuring things out and faffing about. Next week we're playing again, we expect to go a lot quicker than today. -
Yesterday I played my first game of Axis and Allies with some friends. Nice game, there are some similarities with #Risk, but there's a lot more to it.
Things can change quickly. I played Germany; one moment I was happily threatening Stalin, next moment the Americans took Berlin... :rolling_eyes:
