@lauren @dangoodin #AWU has won NLRB elections for some bargaining units, but we still have a long way to go to cover all ~200k employees and TVCs. Other reasons...
- I have to use multiple apps to visualize data. There is not one dashboard to aggregate all data.
- 3rd party apps sometimes report the data it reads from Apple Health in a different way which can lead to skewed interpretation of the data.
- I cannot use 3rd party apps to track running and also get V02max - that's only calculated with the stock app.
- I cannot easily have two way sync with TrainingPeaks.
- It adds no value to my life.

I decided that I am probably going to return the #AWU. Yes, it's more accurate in a lot of ways than the Garmin Fenix 7x but, I have it dumbed down to the basic features removing most of the smart watch components and will not use a lot of features because I do not need the added stress. For what I do, the Fenix does fine and that's run tracking. #AWU #running

I do prefer how Garmin presents the data. I have to jump between multiple apps with apple. Today I had to use the stock workout app in order to try and see what AWU gets for VO2 max. It will not calculate with any third party apps like WorkOutDoors. This might end up being the deal breaker for me even though the AWU seems more accurate.

11 mile run this morning. It still shocks me how close the metrics are between the AWU without a heart rate strap and the Garmin Fenix 7x paired with the HRM pro. The Garmin ended up finishing almost one tenth ahead of the AWU. I compared maps and I think it’s the way Garmin handles the tangents. It’s a guess. Garmin is not as smooth.

A couple of nights comparing sleep tracking between the AWU and Garmin Fenix 7x solar. Vastly different! The Garmin always has awake times wrong and REM is usually laughable. Going by how I feel and when I know I was awake last night the AWU is way more accurate. The first night the Garmin quit tracking due to tattoos. Hrm. #awu #running

I did an easy 30 min run this morning using both devices. Garmin paired with the HRM-pro. AWU using just optical. The metrics were almost identical. Elevation a little diff but I think I have 3D enabled on Garmin. I have an 11 miler on Sunday so that will be a better test. I'm damn shocked & impressed. #AWU #running
