For my wife's birthday of special numerical significance in East Asian tradition, we stayed for the first time on Awaji Island in the Seto Inland Sea. It helps connect the main island with Shikoku island by big bridges, from a little west of Kōbe to northern Awaji Island, and then from southern Awaji Island to Naruto in Tokushima Prefecture on Shikoku.
