From Avery County Gov: UPDATE We have been absolutely blessed with the outpouring of donations from all across the country…Avery County’s Official donation sites are now on pause for the next week (not accepting donations until Nov 2nd atleast) to give the National Guard & others time to sort through & distribute the supplies to make more room.This is specifically for the 3 Avery locations

The three "OFFICIAL" donation/drop-off sites in Avery County are full, and we have run out of space to store stuff.
To continue to receive donations our neighboring county is helping us out. We ARE NOT turning away donations, and are VERY appreciative of the outpour of support this county has seen this past week.
Although these donations are being dropped off elsewhere, they are not being distributed anywhere else, everything meant for Avery County, will remain Avery County's! Please see the graphic for addresses. -
