Fun #FACT, in Freedom And Constraint Topologies (F.A.C.T.) a bent blade spring is a topological equivalent to a beam. Beams aren't very #3dprinter friendly, but blades are.

There was a question about #auxetic #origami that caused me to excitedly search around for a curved-crease example I'd seen demonstrated (by Ekaterina Lukasheva).
I misread the original question but here is the link I found anyway.

"Auxetic" means that when you pull horizontally, it gets larger vertically as well. This is also known as having a negative Poisson ratio.
Balloons and taffy are non-auxetic: stretching one way leads to shrinking the other.
