Fall on Clear Creek and #ClearCreekTrail
A little hard to see the creek in the middle there. Caught this a day or two before full color and planned to go back but a storm took a lot of the leaves down. Hard to catch the timing on the fall colors and sometimes, weather 🤷♂️.

We're getting very close to full fall colors on #ClearCreekTrail. I'm still concerned that the weather with knock the leaves down so I headed out yesterday to see where things are at. As you can see, the sky was gorgeous and more and more of the golds and yellows are coming out.

The downside of using a 500mm lens is that, at great distance, you can't make out what an object is with your own eyes. But due to lights, shadows, and distance your view through the lens isn't much help either. Sometimes you have to wait until you edit to figure out what the heck you're looking at.

Bountiful berries.
Crabapples, I believe. In the spring I watched a group of around twenty robins feeding on the overwintered fruit that had dropped from this and another crabapple right next to it. Just an anecdotal observation but it seems like crabapples are one of the few early spring food sources that can be found in abundance.
