Posting in case this helps someone else.
For the last month or two, I've had problems visiting some sites with #Firefox. The sites use #Cloudflare, and it would give the "prove you're a human by checking this box" prompt. I'd never had problems with this before.
Suddenly that started failing consistently. Clicking the box would do something, but then just reload the challenge. There was no way to pass it. I tried reconfiguring and even disabling the "uBlock Origin" extension, cookie policies, other things - no luck.
Based on a comment on this discussion:

So it appears Cloudflare changed their in-browser testing JS such that it requires HTML5 autoplay to pass the check. Which is ... special. I can think of lots of people with very good reasons to have that disabled.
Anyways, I hope this helps someone.

For the last month or two, I've had problems visiting some sites with #Firefox. The sites use #Cloudflare, and it would give the "prove you're a human by checking this box" prompt. I'd never had problems with this before.
Suddenly that started failing consistently. Clicking the box would do something, but then just reload the challenge. There was no way to pass it. I tried reconfiguring and even disabling the "uBlock Origin" extension, cookie policies, other things - no luck.

Yes, yes, I have autoplay turned off. This is *not* the problem.
The problem is that I used to have a handy option, once the song was over, to pick a mix of songs based in the *first* song that I picked.
I no longer have this option.
I bet someone at YouTube was unhappy about the autoplay being turned off, and decided to nerf that feature.

Let's spread the hate around. I went into Amazon Prime. It had been a while since I had been there. I quickly noticed that Amazon hires baboons as GUI designers.

1. What's with the autoplay bullshit? You want to pause your train of thoughts for a second, and bam! You get a preview of whatever you stopped on. I don't want this shit. Why don't you let me press a button to start the bloody preview?

2. If you get to the row of exclusives, you're in for a real treat. Not only autoplay is a thing, but if you stop for a second, the offering you stopped on will expand, pushing the other offerings off the screen. If you move from the expanded offering, then it will return to its original size. Don't be confused for too long, because the new offering you're now on will expand. Rinse and repeat.
Who thought this is good GUI design? Oh, crap, I've spoiled it above. It was most likely a baboon, one who wanted to show his design teacher that he really knew is shit, customers be damned.
