Immer wieder spannend wie Trump mit Steinen wirft obwohl er selbst ganz ruhig sein sollte.
Hoffentlich fällt ihn das Epstein Thema zeitnah auf die Füße und es wird alles etwas ruhiger da drüben.

На исходе ноября 2025 года президент США Дональд Трамп объявил об отмене всех исполнительных указов и других документов, подписанных Джо Байденом с помощью автопера. Трамп указал, что это касается примерно 92% документов Байдена, якобы подписанных без его личного участия, и обвинил окружение экс-президента в незаконных действиях. В общем-то, нынешний глава Белого дома нередко выступает с громкими заявлениями, меня же заинтересовала прежде всего техническая сторона вопроса. А именно, что это за «автоперо» такое, и как оно работает? Я с самого начала предполагал, что речь идет об устройстве наподобие графического плоттера, и в целом не ошибся. Разве что автоперо — гораздо более продвинутый девайс, способный имитировать даже силу нажатия на бумагу и менять скорость письма. Но самое интересное — это хитрое устройство появилось задолго до персональных компьютеров, еще в 30-х годах прошлого века, и пользовалось популярностью не только у президентов. Как же на самом деле устроено автоперо и какова история его появления на свет? Сейчас расскажу. Рассказываю!

It's one of the issues with presidential pardons, but that's the way it is.
A presidential pardon _doesn't even have to be signed_ by the POTUS or anyone else; it just has to exist to hold the full force of the law. The _convention_ of signing them was introduced a few decades ago; before then, just saying the words on record was enough to make it happen. Weird? Sure. And here we are.
This whole #AutoPen fiasco is just another distraction.

#USPol Okay, here’s a question from a guy who thinks he knows something but isn’t sure. What’s with all of this #autopen nonsense? My observation is the issue has been kind of bubbling under the dominant news cycle for some time now. As best as I can figure, #Trump is alleging that #POTUS Biden actually had no idea what was going on in his own administration, and various minions did all the decisionmaking and heavy lifting and used the #autopen to make it look like the President was engaged. For one thing, that is obvious baloney. Yes, he had bad days and bad times, as many people his age do. But he wasn’t a drooling lump who should be in a nursing home, which is how this seems to be portrayed. My fear is one of these days #Trump will suddenly, out of the blue, announce that he hereby decrees the entire Biden administration null and void because of autopen, and anything enacted during that time is now hereby rescinded. How much fun will that be? But I can totally see it happening. God help us all.
