My audio player broke and I had an idea for not only a way to fix it but also make it better and more repairable in the future. However it will require the most complex custom parts I've sketched yet and I just lost access to the CAD software I'm most used too.
I was an absolute novice at Autodesk Fusion anyway, but I was getting by and getting better. However, I just switched from macOS back to Linux where Fusion is unavailable and now I'm back to square one. I don't really know where to go from here. I figure it will either be FreeCAD or Blender but I'm not exactly having a fun or successful time with either.

It did not take me long to outgrow TinkerCAD lol. The first thing I printed was a model that I imported into TinkerCAD and edited but it wasn't doing exactly what I wanted and I was running into blockers because while TinkerCAD is great, it's a little TOO simple for what I needed. So I had to figure out Fusion and I figured "With new software, might as well be a new model too." so I just started a new model from scratch to get exactly what I wanted.
Anyway that new model is sent off to the library for printing and we'll see how that pans out. In the meantime I went ahead and made another part this morning I needed for a different project. I can only have one print submitted to the library at a time so I'll have to wait to submit the model I made this morning and see if that one works.

It’s time to see if I can properly commit to @FreeCAD
I’m starting by redrawing some of my easier fusion models before I jump into the tricky ones.
The toponaming fixes and reusing sketches are changing the game for me and the three variants of my wire rack knocked together real quick.
