Elder voters can easily keep any #autocrat in power in a country, for a very long time. They're universally forming the majority.

What they can't do is keep their sons and daughters from seeing how free life can be elsewhere, and lock them in, decade after decade.

It's their choice: either see your kids and grandchildren often, being part of their lives; or at best once per year, when they'll visit you from abroad, in your self-inflicted shithole life they will never choose to share, and will never choose to confine their own kids to.
