( I still don't get the right-angled triangle sides' worked solution in the appendix though.
I literally did a physics degree, somehow.
The step up to (x^2 - 1) > 2n or whatever is fine.
Right after that looks like (x^2 + 1) - (x^2 - 1) > 2 from nowhere.
Like wtf?
Did I just have a stroke.

In other news, I have finished reinforcing my thinning socks with my grandma's old mending wool. I called it "satisfyingly repetitive" when I showed my partner the results. It's been giving me some profound #autisticJoy with added benefit of prolonging those socks's life.
