  3. Story Hour brought us a science fiction story with fantasy elements and a fantasy story with SF elements...or were they something else entirely? Randee Dawn and Brian Trent brought us action-oriented, thought-provoking tales. Watch and see what YOU think! #StoryHour2020 #ShortStories #ShortFiction #ScienceFiction #FantasyFiction #SFF #AuthorReading #AuthorReadings @Randee youtube.com/watch?v=7nsYeK3M_p

  4. Our first Story Hour on YouTube felt like a great housewarming party. Effie Seiberg read a sweet, funny story and Erin Roberts read a beautiful, heartbreaking one, and we couldn't be happier. You can still watch! #StoryHour2020 #ShortStories #ShortFiction #AuthorReading #AuthorReadings #SFF #ScienceFiction #EffieSeiberg #ErinRoberts @effies youtube.com/watch?v=p8f850VwRD

  5. Could your soul use a little balm? Try these stories from Anne E.G. Nydam and Jo Miles. We started with righteous maternal rage and moved into romance, humor, and Santa vs. techbros. This Story Hour is good for what ails you. #StoryHour2020 #ShortStories #AuthorReading #AuthorReadings #FantasyFiction #Fantasy #Humor @josmiles facebook.com/watch/live/?ref=w

  6. Ah, my heart! This Story Hour brought us two beautifully written, deep-thinking, and moving stories from Alex Jennings and Wole Talabi. Wole read his story from the Locus Recommended list, so you can hear it in the author's own voice! You can still watch! #StoryHour #StoryHour2020 #AlexJennings #WoleTalabi #ShortStories #AuthorReadings #ScienceFiction facebook.com/100039975042631/v

  7. Every Wednesday, Story Hour brings you stories read by the authors...but this is the first time we've ever had Anna Orridge or Dana Vickerson. And this Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. PST, they'll BOTH read for us! #StoryHour2020 #StoryHour #ShortStories #AuthorReadings #AnnaOrridge #DanaVickerson storyhour2020.com/

  8. What a #StoryHour! Jonathan Kincade read a moving story of just deserts richly deserved, and Suzan Palumbo read a heartbreaking version of "The Little Mermaid"—a mermaid who doesn't want to ascend to earth and air. Touching and beautiful. #ShortStories #AuthorReadings #StoryHour2020 facebook.com/100039975042631/v

  9. You can be grateful along with us on Wednesday that Story Hour has two speculative fiction writers reading their own short stories! This week, we'll have Jonathan Kincade and Suzan Palumbo. 7:00 p.m. PST. Join us at the table! #StoryHour #StoryHour2020 #JonathanKincade #SuzanPalumbo #AuthorReadings #ShortStories storyhour2020.com

  10. One thing I'm finding interesting about using #AltText for photos is the way it forces me to say what's important about the photo and to avoid inaccuracy. Since a lot of the images I post are author headshots for the #StoryHour #AuthorReadings that take place every week, that results in captions like (I am making this one up) "masc-presenting person with short hair, smiling as if enjoying a secret." Seems more useful than describing the color of a shirt, by maybe it's too much extrapolation?

  11. In these days of social media...flux...what can we count on? Story Hour, that's what! Every Wednesday! This week, A.M. Muffaz and Gordon B. White, will read us their stories. 7:00 p.m. PST. #StoryHour2020 #StoryHour #A.M.Muffaz #GordonBWhite #AuthorReadings storyhour2020.com

  12. This week's #StoryHour took me from gently dabbing at my eyes with a tissue to ugly-cry sobbing (off camera, luckily). #HollyWadeMatter and #WoleTalabi did an outstanding job reading outstanding stories. Not to be missed! #StoryHour2020 #AuthorReadings facebook.com/100039975042631/v
