Just posted in a thread about how #AHPRA is doing its regular investigations into complaints it receives.No confidence at all that AHPRA would have been any sort if obstacle to these apparent very serious assaults of patients.

Senior #AHPRA need to explain the huge gap between community (and professional) expectations of rigorous investigation and the "wet paper bag" investigations that AHPRA is delivering.

Anthony Albanese's National Anti-Corruption Commission #NACC, which AIUI turned out to be mainly focused on educating against corruption, seems so poorly staffed that its internal functioning appears corrupt and is being investigated by the Inspector of the NACC #GailFurness.

The unreasonable, long term, and still ongoing, malfunctioning of NDIS public servants adds significant stress to the lives of National Disability Insurance Scheme recipients.A lot of these people are already under a lot of stress.
That the government is adding more and more is just smh vile. And this is abusive.
2000 deaths linked to RoboDebt stress.
How many more need to die before the APS is reformed?

Bugger, and #SBS was my last resort for news since I no longer watch the #ABC.Our bloody govt should pull out all stops and do something about our #NewsMedia lanscape. We can’t allow wholesale right wing brainwashing of the Australian population. #AlboPM should sack the ABC management and put some #RealJournalists in charge while simultaneously strengthening the ABC code of conduct in line with those of the #AustralianPublicService

What changes in the Australian Public Service have been made to help public servants report and get appropriate support if they find they're faced with departmental actions that are, unreasonably, harming people and triggering suicides?
A social worker testified to the Royal Commission that Centrelink compliance officers took a "So sad. Too bad.", approach.
Clearly this was grossly inadequate.

Another major #AustralianPublicService #APS failure on #Abbott / #Turnbull / #Morrison watches.
#EthicalBankruptcy was evident many years prior.
Friend meets with #DFAT Australia's Dept of Foreign Affairs and Trade and asks for action against a smaller #Genocide occuring in S.E. Asia.
Public servant asks, "How will us taking action improve trade?".
With there being no prospects of improvements in trade forthcoming the meeting was terminated.Been building for years.

Looks like maybe the federal drug regulator, the Therapeutic Goods Authority, has been taking the same path that the #Commissioners who could have stepped in to stop #RoboDebt took.
Those commissioners let things roll on.
I'll wait to see if the TGA releases proof that they were actively seeking changes to the regulations to bring compounded medicine within their bailiwick. And only condemn them if they don't.

Seeing the #AustralianPublicService is in far worse shape than just facilitating and permitting #RoboDebt, allowing negect and abuse to continue for years in #AgedCareBusinesses and allowing whatever s*** went down with #BorderForce.
The old slur was that #PublicServants were #Lazy.
Now they're looking like #Monsters.
