@Qldaah that article shits me so much. It opens with a blatant lie: "as a solution to Victoria’s energy troubles" and then goes on to talk about the 500,000 sites that lost power as if that had anything to do with coal.
It didn't.
Not a fucking thing.
It was trees on power lines, which will disconnect nuclear power just as effectively for just as long.
Not even the temporary load shedding of 90,000 sites for up to an hour would have been avoided if the coal had been replaced with nukes. That was done because the network was at risk - and it would be at the same risk of overload if it was shifting nuclear generation or wind generation.
Fucking misleading Costello chaired LNP mouthpiece.

The Greens are a more credible Opposition than the LNP.
My gut says the Greens scored votes from disaffected Labor fans who will keep voting for the Greens in future.

Poor focus and bad messaging meant Cookers shrank Labor's vote in the Western Suburbs where they have such a strong traditional lead they can afford a swing against.
