#NewZealand writer Eugene Doyle of Solidarity joins Pascal Lettaz of Neutrality Studies to discuss the #NZPol Prime Minister Chris Luxon and his RW government’s abandoning of the NZers kidnapped from the #SumudFlotilla in international waters and beaten by Israel terrorists.
This interview breaks down the shameful complicity of #Luxon along with #AusPol PM #Albanese and western governments in the #genocide occurring in #Gaza and allowing #Israel to torture civilian citizens of #NZ and #Australia.
Note the absolute silence of these #CrimesAgainstHumanity in #NZMedia and #AusMedia also complicit in these appalling crimes being committed by #Israel.
Regardless of what you think of PM Luxon and foreign affairs minister Winston Peters as politicians there’s no doubt that they are #WarCriminals failing to uphold their obligations to support NZ citizens being tortured for attempting to provide international humanitarian aid.

"2SER, or Sydney Educational Radio, is owned by the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and Macquarie University, the latter of which announced it would withdraw its funding for the station this year."

The fact that the NPC allowed an Israeli Nazi to speak is bad enough; that the hacks in the room soft balled questions to him says exactly how fucked our news media is.
It's why I don't read it when it comes to the US-Israeli illegal war on Iran; it's propaganda for Nazis

Australian TV media challenge (impossible): don't send your reporters, endangering their lives, outside in the middle of a cyclone, while telling the public to stay inside.
FFS. Why do you always do this? ABC Australia: Nate while live on air, "oh and we've just lost power".
ABC don't you fucking dare kill Nate!

Why am I putting myself through the torture of listening to Insiders? Spewsie has a tone of glorious gloating as if he's ecstatically feeding from disaster - wars mean lots of work for second-rate journos, though he's really tenth-rate. WTF has he got Baarnabee as a commentator?????? #TheirABC #auspol #ausmedia

Four Corners has long been regarded as the ABC's flagship investigative journalism program – and often Australia's premier current affairs show.
Yet there are several strong arguments why it no longer fully deserves that top-tier status. -

ABC finally published a single article on the cabinet papers, rather than one on each topic, leaving the climate change lies as a footnote in the article.
I wouldn't trust any reporting from the ABC any more. If anything, ABC News is worse now than when they sacked Lattouf
-
And this is why they don't want to publish anything on the Howard cabinet papers on ABC.
They knew. They knew and they lied to everyone for over 20 years.
They destroyed carbon trading schemes, any action on climate change, and dragged the Liberal Party so far to the right they're now advocating for deporting citizens because they're Indian or Muslim while opening more coal power plants:
Cabinet papers reveal Alexander Downer warned of dire climate change outcomes in 2005
-
ABC are fucked, to the point I think there needs to be a national, publicised, and very vocal, boycott of ABC.
Zero coverage of the Howard cabinet papers released today, but multiple stories on state cabinet papers released today, on the front page.
Their reporting over the past year has gone from extremely bad to far-right propaganda, all under the direction of Albanese (anyone who thinks the PM of the day doesn't signal ABC probably falls for the ABC's propaganda). It's little wonder with this signalling they strive to protect far-right figures like Howard.
We don't need a federal Royal Commission on antisemitism, we need one into political interference at the ABC

Imagine reporting the death of Jeffrey #Epstein without mentioning his many horrific crimes, and having the only quote in a news bulletin be a gushing tribute from his partner-in-crime #GhislaineMaxwell.
That's effectively what #ABC did in this morning's news headlines about the death of another notorious criminal.
Epstein may well have abused over one thousand victims.
The victims of Dick Cheney's crimes number in the millions.

Often computer history focuses on the US (or UK), but rarely Australia.
This article reveals how Ozisoft, the Aussie distributor for Sega, went into print publishing and shut out Mattel (which distributed Nintendo):
"The news section of Megazone issue 11, dated December 1990, starts with a glorified press release. It states that over 100,000 Sega Master Systems have been sold in Australia and that things are going gangbusters.
"What it fails to mention is that the magazine’s publisher is OziSoft. Which also happens to be the local distributor of Sega products.
"The cover of that same issue featured the new King’s Quest 5 game for PC alongside a glowing preview across several pages. Coincidentally, King’s Quest is another one of OziSoft’s local releases.
"Growing up, I didn’t know any of that. Because a 12-year-old kid doesn’t really know or care about licensing, distribution, or ‘corporate synergy’.
...
"While Megazone went out with a whimper, its final issue barely noticed, the magazine’s legacy, and its influence on Australian gaming can’t be underestimated. It made Sega a household name, sold a generation of kids on the Master System, and helped OziSoft outgun and outsell Nintendo when the 16-bit generation arrived on our shores.
"For better or worse, the conflicted nature of Megazone shaped a generation of kids. Even if we didn’t know it at the time.
...
"Looking back at Megazone with the benefit of hindsight it’s clear that the lines between journalism and marketing were often blurred.
"That’s a view that Stuart Clarke agrees with. And he should know, given he was the editor from 1992 to 1993."

This should have been a bigger news story.
More media consolidation in Australia, with Seven looking to buy radio station operator Southern Cross Austereo.
SCA owns Triple M, Fox FM Melbourne, and 2Day FM Sydney.
If approved, the big competitors to Seven's radio stations will be Nine (which owns 2GB, 3AW, 4BC, 6PR) and also Lachlan Murdoch (Nova, Smooth FM, Coles Radio, 5AA).

It's kind of crazy that the ABC has profusely apologised to Lattouf, as they should, but there's been no apology to the Australian public, nor a promise to block Zionist lobbying in future.
What they're saying, quite publicly, is the ABC is not for the Australian public, but for lobbyists, especially those who back the most heinous crimes against humanity.
To me, that puts ABC's board of directors and management in the same category as any other person participating in the genocide happening in Gaza

Every piece of news about BRS just gets better and better lately:
Kerry Stokes ordered to pay $13.5m legal bill over Ben Roberts-Smith’s failed defamation suit
-
Gotta love how ABC publishes a piece from some dude on how the Nazi rallies were a propaganda win, without seeing his own masthead as the root cause of the propaganda win.
Days of opinions from Nazis, pieces explaining how they willingly marched with Nazis but are really not bad people, photo galleries filled with literal Nazi beauty shots during the march from the ABC. Yet no mention of it being a Nazi rally.
You don't defeat Nazis with nice words and puff pieces

A good Media Watch this week.
Shows exactly how Albo et al have been totally played on the social media ban:
-
Hahaha, ABC are doing their best to not say "fascism" when talking about America.
"State-run capitalism" you say? Nope, just garden variety fascism, of the Nazi variety
-
Crazy that ABC News would rather give a full big tile to Taylor fucking Swift and her cretinous boyfriend, than to the open admission by Israel that they committed a war crime and crime against humanity.
A double tap strike alone is a war crime, having been employed since WWII to harm rescue and health workers.
Striking a hospital because of a made up Hamas camera is a war crime, and admitting to it removes any need for an investigation.
Israel past the "deny we did the war crime" stage, and at the "we did a war crime, what you gonna do?" stage, but ABC are more focused on some right wing woman's exploitation of a brain damaged footballer; if it was the other way people would be up in arms
-
If you were reading ABC News this morning you'd have no idea about the hundreds of thousands who hit the streets to protest Israel's genocide in Gaza. Their one, pitiful, story has dropped off the front page.
Oh, but they've got a story about an Israeli hostage, quite prominently, and another about Israeli "retaliatory strikes" (acts of aggression) against the Yemeni Presidential Palace (a war crime).
Fuck the ABC and every Zionist Nazi that works there
-
Gotta love how ABC have done an "investigation" into the pro-Palestine movement, and not into the Zionist movement.
Apparently it's ok to "investigate" victims of genocide and their supporters because some terrorist dickhead is trying to capitalise on it, but it's not ok to investigate the genocidal Israelis who freely go kill Palestinians, then come back to Australia; or the links between Zionist groups and Mossad; or the links between Zionist groups and harassment of pro-Palestine supporters; or the weapons trade used to kill civilians in Gaza; or the genocidal rage that the whole of Israel is going through.
Nope, just go after the pro-Palestine movement because some irrelevant idiot has said he wants to recruit more idiots

These two can’t both be true:
On one hand, negative gearing is supposedly inconsequential to housing supply, rental stock, or renters.
On the other, investor borrowing—supercharged by tax perks like negative gearing—is literally choking out first-time buyers from homeownership.
And let’s not forget Victoria. Despite tougher land taxes and investor levies, there’s been no mass exodus of landlords and no collapse in rental availability. So much for the scare campaign that “reform will kill rentals.”One of these stories is full of it. And it’s not the one showing how investors are flooding the market.
I wonder how many negatively-geared properties the author owns?

This Sinclair Davidson op-ed* insists that scrapping negative gearing won’t solve the housing crisis—and is simply ideological fluff. It claims “reforming” the scheme won’t build a single home, won’t help a single renter, and will only make life tougher for “small investors,” while claiming state governments benefit from high prices via tax revenue and thus oppose affordability reform.
But hold up—just next door, a Guardian headline reports property investors borrowed a record $130 billion in the year to June 2025. They’re hogging the market, pushing out first-time buyers—116,000 new FHB mortgages issued vs nearly 200,000 investor loans, the highest level for landlords since 2022.

Honestly, why does anyone give a shit what the cops think of the march?
They proved, in court, that they are willing to lie to stop demonstrations.
Why would they change this tactic?
I mean, this is the same police force that rallied behind an officer who tased and murdered a 95-year-old woman suffering dementia, while inside a nursing home, because she had steak knife in her hand

Another pro-fascist article from ABC.
Maybe time to bombard them with complaints, a-la genocidal Zionists

Media Watch lifts the lid on BYD bribing influencers and threatening critics — and some Aussie motoring journos took the cash while reviewing the very cars they were paid to promote.
Truth is, this kind of media manipulation isn't new — car companies have been wining, dining and quietly paying off reviewers since the dawn of motoring journalism. What's changed is how blatant and aggressive it's become.
This isn’t just bad ethics — it’s a public trust issue.#ausmedia #mediawatch #byd #mediacapture #carreview #journalism #conflictofinterest

MacroBusiness: another one bites the dust.
Today’s headline — “The new house price boom begins” — is pure property spruik propaganda. But if you actually read the article, it ends in a tone of deep concern about housing unaffordability, immigration-driven demand, and structural market failure. So which is it?
This is classic bait-and-switch — reel in the punters with bullish noise, then quietly mutter about the mess underneath. It’s dishonest, and it’s deliberate.
MacroBusiness once stood apart — sharp, data-driven, unafraid to challenge the real estate lobby or mainstream economic spin. But that era is over. These days, they’re churning out the same manipulated messaging as the rest. A compromised rag peddling housing FOMO while pretending to lament the consequences.
This isn’t journalism — it’s narrative management for vested interests.#auspol #housingcrisis #ausmedia #propaganda #pravda #MacroBusiness

A foreign-owned media empire not only shaping the housing debate, but profiting directly from it?
Murdoch’s News Corp now owns real estate listings, mortgage platforms, property data firms and most of the media megaphone in this country — and they’re using that platform to steer the national housing conversation in ways that just so happen to benefit... themselves.
It’s no longer just bias — it’s vertical integration of propaganda and profit. A single company now helps drive housing policy outcomes by flooding the public sphere with editorials, headlines, and slanted coverage — while quietly monetising the very market conditions it helps create.
Where are the regulators? Where’s the outrage? Why is a foreign-controlled corporation allowed to manipulate both sides of the ledger — public opinion and private finance — while pretending it’s just journalism?
This is not a free press — this is a real estate racket with a printing press.#ausmedia #auspol #housingcrisis #murdoch #newsCorp #mediabias #mediaownership #aushousing

Real estate agents are rarely considered the victim. But when it comes to the behemoths of property listings in Australia, estate agents have faced price gouging to the tune of a 5000% price rise over the last 15 years for a 'premium' listing on the market-dominant platform. Without paying for that 'premium' service, properties tend to disappear from search results.
Since the behemoth in question is a subsidiary of (and substantially bankrolling) Australia's dominant media company (i.e. #Murdoch), with a market capitalisation greater than supermarket giant #Coles, here is yet another reason the political duopoly are reluctant to touch structural #TaxJustice issues such as #NegativeGearing or #CapitalGainsTax.
