#FBIGirl (1951)
A governor planning to run for U.S. Senate has a secret past that could prove damaging to his political aspirations: he's a convicted murderer, and that will come to light if the FBI does an investigative check on him. He goes to a local crime boss for help. The racketeer arranges for a low-level FBI employee to take the incriminating file from FBI headquarters, but then she is conveniently murdered. Two FBI agents investigating her murder begin to think that something isn't quite kosher.

What strong performances in this episode that deals with PTSD in a very early TV show (1960 or 61) Paul Henried directed written by John T. Kelly.
Riveting, but the ending was too much.

#WomanTheyAlmostLynched (1953)
Laying on the Missouri-Arkansas border, the neutral Border City, its female mayor and city council take no side in the ongoing Civil War and they're prepared to hang any troublemaker, Yankee or Confederate, who stirs the townsfolk up.

Our #FilmNight club picks for #noirvember :

Tension (1949)
High Wall (1947)
The Dark Mirror (1946)
Out of the Past (1947)

We've watched two so far.

Admittedly it's a bit Audrey Totter heavy, but who can complain about that?
