Really wish my my glorious #AudioTechnica ATH-M50xBT2 were supported, best wireless/wired #headphones I have ever owned, even without noise cancelling.
At least their app isn't as bad as the total mess by #Sony. Most confusing and annoying UI I have ever seen, while charging super premium prices and having absolutely terrible customer support. 🫠 #GadgetBridge got me covered here, though! ✌️

I accidentally drenched the charging case with electrolyte-infused water. After it dried, it miraculously survived.
Later on I forgot to take the earbuds out of my pants and ran them through a wash cycle. After drying, they still work as if nothing happened! I was shocked.
In a world of planned obsolescence, these earbuds — $100 cheaper than Apple's AirPods Pro, with over 3x the battery life — are worth going out of my way to praise.
I wish #AudioTechnica all the success for their high quality engineering. -

Is there anyone among my followers using Audio Technica ATH M60X headphones? I am trying to match a 1-quarter-intch adapter to their cable but none I have fit. A customer supporter (LOL) from Audio Technica says that any should fit but this does not seem to be the case here. Should I be looking for a specific adapter on Amazon? Really tempted to get #Fairphone #Fairbuds XL for noise cancelling office headphones. I currently have #AudioTechnica ATH-M50x which I'm really happy with, but I've been moved into a bigger office room and I'd like to have noise canceling.
The new Sony XM5 inexplicably cannot fold into a small size so they're out. Bose I have no idea of. Fairphone would be repairable and that would be nice. But I can't try them out anywhere so I'm hesitant.
Any experiences?

No wonder my #in-ear's battery life is more-or-less halved (~10h instead of the advertised 20h) after close to 2 years of more or less daily use (& charging). And worse: the left earpice started to regularly (at least once per week or so; I didn't keep notes though) just not charge, when put into the charging case.
Such a shame, those feel like otherwise great #headphones!

Interessante Beobachtung: Meine Freundin pairte jüngst ihr #Samsung-Telefon mit meinen #AudioTechnica-Kopfhörern via #Bluetooth. Dabei wurde neben dem Gerätenamen in der Geräteliste ein Name angezeigt. Ich hab die Kopfhörer damals neu gekauft und kenne keinen Stephen. Woher rührt der Name? Verknüpft #Google automatisch den Namen des Gerätebesitzers mit der MAC-Adresse der Kopfhörer und zeigt sie dann allen anderen Geräten an, die online sind und nach Bluetooth-Geräten suchen? 🤔 Und wie werde ich diese Verknüpfung los? #Android
(Ich habe keine Google-Dienste auf meinem Gerät.)

Conception fragile de coussinet de casque audio: j'avais acheté (2013?) un casque #Audiotechnica à 280€ (une des premières générations à réduction de bruit). J'espérais pour ce prix là avoir de la qualité. La réduction a fini par donner un bruit de souffle. Le bouto on-off a fini par avoir un mauvais contact. Les coussinets ont fini par se déliter: deux bandes sont collées sur une zone de moins de 1mm de large. Les coussinets de remplacement ont le même problème.
À bas la conception non-durable! -
The only pair of #headphones that doesn't give me #earache (via #clampforce and/or #earpad) after a while that I know of is the ATH-R70x by #audiotechnica, which is why I like a decent set of #iem's over classic #overear or #onear headphones. In general I prefer speakers to headphones though, and not just for comfort. 😇️

Audio-Technica выпустили вторую ревизию беспроводных наушников ATH-M50xBT.
Заявляют USB-C, улучшенные микрофоны, еще дольше работу от батареи (до 50 часов), подключение к двум устройствам сразу.
Немного удручает разве что то, что Bluetooth не 5.2 и убрали #aptX в пользу #AAC и #LDAC.

[SETUP UPDATE]
Upgraded from my 2-year old FIFINE T669 mic to the Audio-Technica AT2035—here covered by the AT pop filter—which is an XLR mic which meant I needed an audio interface to connect to my computer. Enter the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2.
This setup works well on Linux. You don't need to download any drivers for the 2i2 to work and be managed by something like alsamixer. My old ATH-M40x completes the set.
