Even more ridiculously, all this sort of advice floating around is just cargo-culting. Not even the model makers understand exactly how a given prompt results in a particular output - it's opaque to them, too. It's "I did this, and that happened, and therefore this caused that, so you should always do this".
Next, they'll be telling you to use a green paint marker around the edge of your prompt to get better results.

I regret to inform you that running audio equipment from battery banks to avoid the electricity being tainted with the nasty electrical grid is already an audiophool thing. People were doing it 30 years ago, maybe longer.

Dear #Fediverse #Video people, does there exist such a thing as a #VGA to #Displayport adapter? I have an elderly machine that only has VGA, and my KVM only has Displayport. The usual suppliers of cheap electronic tat are only advertising DP-to-VGA adapters, and I'm not convinced that cheap electronic tat will convert in the direction I need. I definitely don't need high resolution or ridiculous refresh rates - this is VGA, and I'm not an #̶a̶u̶d̶i̶o̶p̶h̶o̶o̶l̶ video gamer.

This is either "AI" #slop or someone who really, really doesn't understand electricity and audio signals. It's talking about a standard 3.5mm headphone/mic jack on consumer audio devices, and says this when talking about straight vs. right-angle plugs:

#audiophool DAC recap complete. Running some quick tests to make sure it works (and out of curiosity). As it typical, it offers a range of different digital interpolation filters. The one called "optimal spectrum" was selected. It's unclear to me what about it is supposed to be optimal.
