I'm a small collectioneer and lover of cds and cd player.
There is a thing we did and that was burning vinyl rips on cd rws and playing them via dvd player on amped on hi fi speakers which are great.
and it was better than the usual mp3- or yt streaming.substantionally.
but somewhat earlier i said and noted that production on this album is just flawless and sounds mega powerful on cd and good cables.

Ciao, wie ist das bei Euch? nutzt Ihr hauptsächlich Streaming Dienste a la Spotify etc oder kauft Ihr heutzutage noch Audio-CD's? ich gehöre zu denen, die tatsächlich gebrauchte Audio-CD's kaufen, die mich meist so 1-2€ kosten und lasse diese in meinem Debian Linux Rechner als lossless, also Flac importieren..

#TIL that you can rip an audio CD in #KDE just by opening it in dolphin and copying out the folder named for the format you want it in.
These are a set of virtual folders that represent the formats supported by your system to rip them into.
How cool is that?

Turns out, geniuses at Sony figured format is obsolete and decided to skip mounting corresponding laser from console altogether. A few dollars saved, apparently :blobcatroll:
Cannot imagine living room media center without it, to be honest, meaning PS4 is not a decent media center whatsoever :blobcatshrug:

Attempting to (passively) ventilate to remove the musty smell after (no idea how) many yeara of storage conditions.
Not much has changed in a day.
IIRC I had to use a hairdryer on some before, maybe I'll do that again, when I'm less lazy.
