Ну чтож. Сегодня я решил сразиться со здравым смыслом и заводской комплектацией, и победил. Теперь мои Audeze LCD-1 выглядят как будто их покусал китайский клон LCD побольше. А нехер блин в своих америках делать оголовья из говна и палок. На последней фотке то, что случается со всеми LCD-1 через полгода - год, а некоторые на авито пишут, что трещина в этом месте была из коробки :) я ещё тканевые амбушюры от Edifier Stax Spirit S3 поставлю, чтоб вам совсем всем больно было.

I've sent back my #Audeze Maxwell (a 400€ wireless headset) to the reseller I bought it from, to have what seemed like a loose connection regarding the mute button checked out. Just got it back, and nothing was done.
I'm supposed to update the firmware of the headset, and while I have my doubts it'd work, I was gonna give it a shot.
Problem is, their in-house software they recommend using is Mac/Windows only. The Android app is supposed to be able to do this too, but it stopped recognizing the headset after I updated the USB dongle's firmware.
Now I have to wait who knows how long until I get access to a Windows machine to attempt to fix it. And then who knows if it'll work? (And no, I'm done using Windows VMs for this.)
In frustration, I've sent both Audeze and the reseller an email. I had some other complaints, too. Will see how that goes. (Not blaming them for lack of Linux support, just implied it on the side, by the way.)
((Not to mention this thing doesn't fully work on Linux anyway. The thing is supposed to have two audio outputs, for a chat-game balance feature, and only one shows up by default.))
At this point I'm going to have to deliberately put effort into verifying what I buy will work on Linux.
