  1. @anthropy @nixCraft I use some Free software made by a company and then Microsoft comes along and buys the company. #atomeditor 🤬

  3. I'd still been using the #AtomEditor on macOS until recently (even though GitHub retired it github.blog/2022-06-08-sunsett a year ago), but am now running #SublimeText on Windows 11 and macOS.

So far so good, I did have to alter how it used home/end on macOS but that was easy.

I'll often be launching it from the terminal (macOS or WSL on Win11), sublimetext.com/docs/command_l and have aliased atom to subl too.

    On va essayer ça.

  8. Kein Editor für das 21. Jahrhundert: Atom geht in Rente

Heute teilten die Atom-Macher von GitHub ihren Nutzern in dürren Worten das Ende des freien Texteditors Atom mit: »While that goal of growing the software creator community remains, we’ve decided to retire Atom in order to further our commitment to fast and reliable software development to the cloud via Microsoft Visual Studio Code and GitHub Codespaces.« blog.schockwellenreiter.de/202 #AtomEditor
