If you're looking for some great music to enjoy this Sunday, may I suggest this brand new album of remixes by a very talented group of primarily #Fedi artists?
To the Nines Remixed presents a lovely mix of styles, moving through genres like #downtempo #AtmosphericJungle #dnb #IDM #ambient #breaks and #UKG. And #bonkwave... maybe?

HIGH CONTRAST - Tough Guys Don't Dance
https://emcritic.blogspot.com/2016/06/high-contrast-tough-guys-dont-dance.html
Welp, turns out this didn't end up his 'last' record, in more ways than one. Curse me and tempting the fates of parallel realities in my reviews...

JONNY L - Sawtooth
https://emcritic.blogspot.com/2016/06/jonny-l-sawtooth.html
One of the slightly overlooked albums of #90s d'n'b yore. Lots of classic tunes, of course, just not as remembered assembled in an LP format as we have here.
Agit - Above the Clouds (FP008, Future Projects/EABE/FIN, 30 October 2025).
"A lovely piece of atmospheric junglism by Italy's Agit featuring a remix by their fellow countryman 24bush."

ASC - Sci-Files: Volume Five
https://emcritic.blogspot.com/2015/06/asc-sci-files-volume-five-jack-moss.html
Part Two of a Duology Guest Spot within the Five-Review coverage of a Six-Release series of EPs. Well, when you put it like that, it don't make any of the sense! :confusedc:

Time for a pinch-hit, bringing in JACK MOSS for a bit of insight into this EP series from James Clements.

How do you keep an EP series retrospective interesting review to review? Cliffhangers!

Taking on an artist's conceptual EP series one at a time? Who would do such a thing!?

Various - HIDDEN REALMS EP
https://emcritic.blogspot.com/2024/11/various-hidden-realms-ep.html
I take a stab at the Omni Music label, a #DNB print that's been in business for nearly fifteen years now. They must be doing something right!

A #DrumAndBass set from one of the unlikeliest sources. Not the DJs, the location and label, I mean.

No, really, this is a totally class #DnB compilation, featuring many rare works of one Gavin Cheung; aka: Nookie.

I love a good mix! This one is the perfect soundtrack for my bike ride in to work, as it instantly puts me in a good mood.
It was mixed by Andy Stockton aka DJ Epicentre The Dragon, and features all of the tracks from our co-curated Planet Socool EP.
Definitely check it out if you’re in the mood for atmospheric jungle and soulful liquid drum’n’bass 🙂
