So after a painful several hours it turns out when my motherboard battery died it reset my TMP settings causing all sorts of hell for Windows. After doing that and getting a much newer build of Windows 11 ISO it appears the Atlas OS update worked.

Overall it’s much quieter experience. No bloat and I’m not seeing the ram issues I saw before. Best of all , CoPilot seems entirely disabled. Unfortunately it is still windows but with a lot less junk.

Once the Anti-Cheat measures are handled by Proton I’ll move over to Bazzite or Steam OS. For now this is enough of compromise.

if any of yall are interested in debloated windows tiny11 is so much less shady than #atlasos, atlasos patches a live windows install using closed source software, tiny11 builder is written in batch so you can read what it does and only uses system utilities like dism and a single provided executable oscdimg.exe, which you could get from the windows adk directly from microsoft if you wanted to be 100% safe

ive been running tiny11 on my tablet for a few months and i cant say ive had any problems with it, its perfectly stable and even windows update works which i cant say about atlas

Took my old Lenovo G750 and put #AtlasOS on it. Last time it was this snappy and responsive, it was running Windows 7.

I tried running all manner of #Linux distros on it, but the easy to use ones that looked like an actual operating system and not a UNIX terminal were so slow on this ancient tech.
