  1. It's a bummer spotting obvious translation errors in basic game UI. I'm sure this quest popup is supposed to say "N hours left" (the number counts down how much time you have to finish the quest) but it says "After N hours" instead. Most likely translated from「後N時間」possibly without the context on the game mechanics that would make it clearer. It's not a one-off either; every timed quest displays this way. #translation #AtelierRyza3

  4. I bought Dragon's Dogma 1 after crawing for some open world RPG and DD having this cult status of being an underappreciated gem.

If only I had watched more reviews, particulary those that cite the Monster Hunter influence, that would keep me away...

Killing anything in this game takes absolute ages. Until my pawn casts a fire buff on my weapons I pretty much only tickle even the most basic of monsters. And it is not like those fights are that hard. Big monsters just have jumbo healthbars, regular enemies don't come in packs, they come in small armies. If you can route them and have a fire buff, they're easy to dispatch.

I guess I won't stick with this one for too long. Atelier Ryza 3 was in discount over the weekend and I foresee it would scratch the itch much better.

If nothing else, gathering and crafting is bound to be much more enjoyable!

  9. I got a bunch of notifications from #Playstation that games X,Y,Z are now on sale. I'm thinking about getting #ChronoCross for 10€ as I never played it before. From my list #AtelierRyza3 is still overpriced for a digital sale (horrible price physical), #DioFieldChronicle is 30€ (meh), #SecretOfMana and #LegendOfMana is 50%, #WeAreOFK and #ASpaceForTheUnbound have very good price, #ScarsAbove hits the sales again but I'm not convinced. I need to go to bed 😅 #Videogames

  13. Just finished Atelier Ryza 3. I had fun with it but it remained pretty easy. I think the only time I had trouble was with the final boss, and only because I was doing nothing to evade its ultimate attack nor did I bother with actually putting on defensive buffs.

If I had another complaint, it would be that there were far too many cutscenes that interrupted the gameplay flow. Sometimes you just want to shut up and alchemize.

The game ended up taking my about 70 hours to complete, which seems in-line with the other Atelier games I've played on Steam (Sophie 2 and the other Ryzas). My Shallie playtime was 80 hours, but that was two playthroughs in order to get all of the endings.

  14. #atelierryza3 is exactly as queerbait as you would expect given Ryza 1 and 2. this is not one of the gay Ateliers. the best thing i can say about it is that there are definitely no het romance options for Ryza by the end of the game. unfortunately both she and Klaudia are very much still single at that point.

  18. Si #AtelierRyza3 vise avant tout les fans de la série, il apporte une conclusion très réussie aux aventures de son héroïne, comme vient nous l'expliquer @Zali_Falcam aujourd'hui :
