Mistodon: this nifty-galifty portrait (and logo!) of the puppet #XtheOwl from #MrRogersNeighborhood was drawn by @kirkman and placed 5th in the 2025 #ATASCII art compo of #textmode art for Atari 8-bit computers. It was also included in last month's unthemed MIST0226 artpack collection.

There's a 2.9kb binary file that runs on #Atari8bits with #FujiNet that quickly connects you to the Southern AMIS Projects 2026 - #Atari Gateway.

I entered the ATASCII compo for the first time this year. I came in 2nd-to-last, but I was happy with my drawing: X the Owl from "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood."

Having a complete hoot getting an old but surprisingly functional #OKI #MicroLine3320 #DotMatrix #Printer working with my #Atari800. It prints single lines beautifully, but it doesn't line feed on reaching the #ATASCII line ending 0x9B.

Looks like I need to configure the printer to understand the non-standard Atari linefeed. Let's see if that's possible!

Added #ATASCII (#ANTIC/#CTIA/#GTIA) terminal support! Get online like it’s ’79!

Reduced the border sizes by default in NTSC and PAL terminal modes (maintaining the proper pixel aspect ratios). The full-sized borders can be toggled via the new Overscan option.
