My family got me the Lego Atari 2600 for xmas, so I spent most of the break building it.
My original console is buried in the garage, but my manuals and cartridges are in the office, so I decided to take some side-by-side comparison pictures.
I think they did a good job of packing a lot of fun details into this set.

Newest additions to the Atari shelf. Now CX2601 - CX2625 are complete and up to CX2650 are only a few gaps left.
The labels of Steeplechase and Stellar Track look really good. Too good. I suspect they are remade. But that is fine. I remade the top labels of some carts with missing or completely unreadable labels myself.

We are a gaming family. Parents on console, kids on console and PCs. Mostly PCs. Steam and Roblox.
Us parents like the couch + big screen part of gaming, so console (Sony only since Nintendo and Microsoft stopped making consoles) is the way it has been.
... but that might be about to change. For a while now it seems more of the games we would like to play are on Steam rather than PS Store.
Enter #Bazzite. A Linux-based OS that makes any hardware able to act as a "Steam OS" device - and on an HTPC that #Steam OS device can act as the Steam Deck, offering a full console experience.
I just repurposed the #AtariVCS (no, not the 2600, the modern PC thing) into such a Steam device.
This ... might be the future.

This is the latest addition to my VCS collection. The nice thing of collecting these is, that most of them are pretty cheap. I was surprised that some of the games came in a box. Especially the huge Star Raiders box, which contained another surprise. No need to complain for 16€. But I will cover that in a separate post.
