It's not generated by the source (an #Atari130XE) - I've got another Tevion TV on which the image from this source is perfect.

This is an RGB source over SCART. The same RGB source via S-Video looks the same.

Is this a kind of image sharpening, working as intended, or marginal electronics in the input processing? The third image, a notification generated by the TV itself, looks perfect.

The TV has been reset to factory defaults via the menu.

I inadvertently printed out two complete copies of "Mapping the Atari", 1985 revised edition, double-sided, in colour (as much as there is) scaled to A4.

I've bound them both (with those springy plastic things) and put a cardboard cover on the back and a plastic film on the front, like a corporate brochure.

I'm heading to #RetroFest2025. I have brought a copy, if anyone who's going would like it!

Mi diverto con l' #atari #atari8bit #atari130xe dopo aver istallato la #VBXE ho sostituito il modulatore TV con un modulo savoNARA XE modificato da me e costruito in autonomia : stampa del pcb con PCB-way e assemblaggio al microscopio. Sostituire il modulatore TV è necessario per fare spazio all' uscita RGB nativa della VBXE ...purtroppo su XE senza modulatore TV si perde il segnale composito e la savonara board serve proprio ricreare il segnale il questione... #retrocomputing #retrogaming

The replica works in 130XE mode (128kb)! DRAM chips, a faulty PIA chip, and the Freddy chip replacement have been done. Cartridges and FujiNet are operational. All tests pass successfully 😎

#Mondo8Bit doesn't trust MT4264-15 memory chips, and that's exactly what I've got in this #Atari130XE.

The board looks very clean otherwise, to my very untrained eye. No bulging caps, no broken solder joints. Does anyone know what problem those bodge wires are intended to solve?

Successfully converted the #Atari65XE to an #Atari130XE. The (getting more unobtainable by the minute) original Atari EMMU is implemented with a 16V8 GAL, a 74LS95B got added and capacitors and 4164 RAM were populated in the unpopulated footprints. Easy. #RetroComputing #VintageComputing #Atari
