If you're running Ubuntu on your Asus laptop and can't get the CS35L41 HDA driver to work for built-in audio, help is on the way in Linux Kernel 6.7!
I'm running Ubuntu 23.10 with a ROG Strix G18 laptop (G814JZ) and the latest `nvidia-driver-545`. I used the mainline GUI/CLI tool (github: bkw777/mainline) to install 6.7.1, signed my kernel for Secure Boot, and was then able to boot successfully! 🚀 The built-in laptop audio works great, and my NVidia card is working smoothly!
