The Wikipedia article of the day for the 2025-06-24 was White Dwarf. It got me wondering.
Is it possible to restart them? I gather that a sudden injection of mass would likely cause a Bigga Badda Boom, but what if there was a way to slowly (and evenly) add enough hydrogen to get it to fuse again?

Then we're stuck with a 6000-year human genealogy, a universal human ancestor who lived to over 900 years old, a global extinction event from a flood that covered the highest mountaintops worldwide, and a universal human language that was somehow forgotten with a single generation.
Much less plausible that a flash-of-light at the beginning of time. -

The #truth is, many reputable #astrophysicists #think about #interdimensional #exploration and #wormholes all the time. They often conclude that it's too expensive or will take too many years.
