    It's no surprise to astrobiologists that we found those things; it does not “upend” any of our understanding of #PrebioticChemistry, it confirms what we knew.

    Cool discovery, with a false clickbait headline in Nature.

Die Forscher fanden Tausende unterschiedlicher Moleküle auf der Basis von Kohlenstoff, darunter 14 der 20 Aminosäuren, die als Bausteine von Proteinen in allen irdischen Lebensformen vorkommen, sowie mit Adenin, Guanin, Cytosin, Thymin und Uracil sämtliche Nukleobasen der RNA und der DNA auf der Erde.
