Very enlightening panel discussion on how to promote DEI in economics departments. A bit disappointed though that less than 20 people showed up. So if you're interested in stepping up DEI efforts, take the time to watch the recording! #ASSA2023

Hey #ASSA2023 is off to a great start. There are thousands of economists here and it is so great to see everyone in person again! An amazing program committee did all the hard work, but I got to pull the AEA program together so I have seen all the sessions, and there are so many terrific papers! Some sessions live streamed too!

So yes, I apparently misplaced my hotel reservation and had to call random hotels to figure out where I had booked. . .but I figured it out and I'm on my way to New Orleans! #ASSA2023
