Very enlightening panel discussion on how to promote DEI in economics departments. A bit disappointed though that less than 20 people showed up. So if you're interested in stepping up DEI efforts, take the time to watch the recording! #ASSA2023

Had to leave #assa2023 a little early to return to the little people, but was great to meet / catch up w/ many colleagues in person after a long hiatus! I'm terrible at thinking of taking pictures, so thanks @[email protected] for ensuring I left with at least 1

It's fascinating to observe the different adherence levels to the #ASSA2023 mask mandate by sub-fields. In some (Pedagogy/Education) almost everyone in the audience masked, while in others (Finance) almost everyone is unmasked.

Hey #ASSA2023 is off to a great start. There are thousands of economists here and it is so great to see everyone in person again! An amazing program committee did all the hard work, but I got to pull the AEA program together so I have seen all the sessions, and there are so many terrific papers! Some sessions live streamed too!
