  1. @KatyElphinstone Isn't this a variant of the old prejudice that #aspies lack emotions? I haven't actual heard that one in a while now, which I take as society making some small progress.

Now I think both these prejudice mainly stem from god old #kyriarchy, but despite that I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt to however spreads both of these as I think there's at least one more thing to consider.

  3. @jason_burnett @aspiememes This sounds more like what people are 'supposed' to say, which demonstrates you've learned NT culture and are willing to cooperate if not assimilate, in addition to confidence, interest, aptitude, experience, etc.

In a generation or two I suspect things will be really different. So much talent and good will going to waste due to prejudice and ignorance against the invisible minority of #Autistics #Autism #Aspies.

#AI will not be this stoopid, if/when it gets smart.

  5. For high-functioning #Aspies, properly interpreting human behavior may be difficult not because one is clueless, but rather, too clue-full.

With so many possibilities. do we choose the most interesting, the simplest, the most relevant to the current context (and if so, _whose_ sense of context…?)

💡 Try to remember that when communicating with humans, _Feelings Are Fundamental_ and you can't go too far wrong.
