DROP These Hosting Networks Before They Get the Drop on You

In a previous post, I shared the results of experiments where I used Claude AI to join publicly available data with hosting networks (ASN) data published by Interisle at the Cybercrime Information Center’s records repository.

For this article, I’ve prompted Claude to look at more sets of ASN data, again cross-referenced these with the Spamhaus ASN DROP list, to continue to expand our understanding of the bulletproof hosting space.

Come annunciato nel nostro comunicato dell’Epifania, la ricerca italiana ha ora ricevuto, dopo il primo, un secondo dono: l’abolizione della Abilitazione scientifica nazionale. I concorsi tornano locali, sotto il giudizio di commissioni con un membro interno e una maggioranza di esterni sorteggiati da liste di docenti che hanno fatto domanda per servire come commissari.

Gli “specifici requisiti di produttività e di qualificazione scientifica” verranno stabiliti amministrativamente con un “decreto del Ministro, su proposta dell’ANVUR, sentito il CUN”. Finisce l’ASN, ma sopravvive la valutazione amministrativa, centralizzata e quantitativa, i cui parametri saranno determinati, secondo fonti del diritto inferiori alla legge, dall’ANVUR, agenzia per la valutazione di stato resa ancor più dipendente dal governo. Qualunque sia la sua scelta, che cosa è scienza e che cosa no continuerà a essere stabilito dal potere esecutivo. Non vale la pena preoccuparsi per il ritorno del “cretino locale”: questa volta il “cretino” sarà sicuramente governativo, e molto probabilmente bibliometrico.

Si potrebbero proporre, in alternativa, requisiti formali per dare pubblicità ai concorsi pubblici, quali l’adesione alle pratiche della scienza aperta. Così, però, verrebbero urtati gli interessi di chi, a vario titolo, vive delle rendite assicurate da pubblicazioni variamente privatizzate: ciò, prevedibilmente, favorirà la conservazione della bibliometria di stato, con tutto quello che porta con sè.

It's been a while since I've found a need to do this, and I assume tools have changed a bit, so some #FediHelp would be appreciated...

What is the most accurate way to find existing #DomainNames , or more specifically, #SubDomains , where I already know the #TLD ?

#VirusTotal allows me to drill down from the main serving IP address to get to the #ASN - then reference the "Relations" tab for passive #DNS replication -BUT- I suspect the list may only be partially complete and/or 'outdated'.
