At this rate my #ASMicrobe2025 poster will cover far more data than I initially expected.

Very excited to share the results in the next month or two, maybe turn it into a research paper right away?

Got the abstract acceptance confirmation letter from ASM for #ASMicrobe2025. While we knew it'd be accepted it's still a relief to have an official confirmation. You never really know these days.

Anyway, another year of independent researcher representation at ASMicrobe conference confirmed. Woot!

After much hem and haw, finally reserved my Amtrak tickets to #ASMicrobe2025

From NY to Chicago to LA, through the Grand Canyon and across the continental US.

I'll be presenting a poster on methylation patterns of an Archaeal genus members with focus on their MGE & rrn operons. It's something I've been tinkering with at the warehouse lab in Queens, hopefully building up to something interesting
