Do you blog regularly? If so, can you help by telling me what software you use, and what features you value most in it?
I'm constantly half writing things and never publishing them. I need an outlet, but I would value knowing what is most useful. This might end up with me writing my own software or using something simple on my server. But knowing what works first is invaluable.

@Soldusty I keep meaning to figure out how making that ask works, and I have some of the same concerns...but I'm assuming no one's gonna mind if the alt text they suggest gets edited/expanded/whatever? I mean, just having a rough outline to clean up would still be an easier lift for me (I think?) than starting from scratch. Just having someone else transcribe all the text so I can just add in some notes about the details would be super helpful.
...So there's also this other thing going on with me: it's really hard to #AskForHelp. It feels like asking someone else to do my work for me. It feels like making a burden of myself...and I already have to work really hard at rejecting the idea that my disabilities make me burdensome. There's a nasty voice in my head that says if I have to ask for help, I'm just proving the point.
This, of course, is garbage. It turns out that being able to ask for help is essential to being a healthy human, and the fact that this is so hard is part of why I'm not. But ohh, all the bootstrapping suck-it-up-and-do-it-yourself programming I got even before I had the gall to be disabled on top of it all (hard eyeroll here)...it's a big tangled mess.
And obviously, untangling these messes is the necessary stuff of being a human who wants to do better, be better. Like everyone else, I have to own my issues and figure out how to work through them. I'm just sayin'...it's amazing how complicated and difficult this all gets, and how fast.

Maybe you have colleagues who can get so deep into problems that they completely forget to build a solution. Maybe you have a team that is relatively new and lacks trust. Or you may have colleagues who find it difficult to ask others for help.

The BBC reports that a man got stuck in a Brisbane stormwater drain on Saturday while attempting to rescue his phone.Firefighters came to the rescue on Monday, called in by a guy who'd also offered help ON THE SUNDAY but was turned down.
I feel like once you have spent a day - and for that matter, a night - down the drain, the threshold for accepting help has probably been met.
But apparently opinions vary.

Listening to Sen. Fetterman talk about his experience with depression, I recalled the way Doris Kearns Goodwin profiled Lincoln, Teddy R., FDR and LBJ in her book “Leadership in Turbulent Times.” All four of these remarkable leaders had periods of SERIOUS clinical depression. Lincoln’s friends and supporters removed all objects that could cause self harm from his home!
