I was listening to youtube's autogenerated playlist for Asian Dub Foundation's album More Signal & More Noise. I was apparently concentrating really well, because it took me until the 6th repeat of Zig Zag Nation to realize what was going on.

Saw Asian Dub Foundation last night at the BBC ( Big Band Cafe), Caen.
Superb set, they're still just as good as when I first them 30 years ago.
The band have so much energy, sadly the crowd less so, we danced though.

Not directly relevant, but this reminded me of the excellent Asian Dub Foundation album Enemy of the Enemy, released just over 2 decades ago in 2003;

#Listening to it now. As with relistening to PWEI's Dos Dedos album, it makes me think the more things change the more they stay the same.

Passend zu der Scheiße, die Alice Weidel aktuell wieder ausspuckt, ist mir ein gleichnamiger Song aus dem Soundtrack von Need for Speed Underground wieder in den Kopf gekommen, den ich damals schon ziemlich gut fand. Heute hab ich dazu gelernt, dass Asian Dub Foundation eigentlich eine ziemlich spannende Band ist mit sehr politischen Texten und vielen indischen/internationalen Einflüssen. Voll gut!
