In more news which is happening all over #America (and much of the world) our local almost-monopoly on groceries has rewarded their #CEO and #BoardChair with obscene compensation, which their workers can't afford to live.
#Asheville has some of the least-affordable housing in our state of #NC, and people are struggling.
The price of #groceries has skyrocketed over the past now 5 years, the pandemic giving everyone along the supply chain cover to profiteer.
But by all means, let's have #Ingles take care of those at the top.

Our Attorney General has filed suit, but we're still left with a shell of an institution which the community no longer trusts.
