Found this old gem when walking through a pile of old papers. It generates an #ASCII #Stereogram from an input file. Stereograms used to be a big thing decades ago. 😎🤣

I guess I’m finally getting old, but still have my #3D vision to view such images. 🤓

Copy the C source from the #AltText and create a sample source image to do it yourself. Compile the source and run it as shown.

Mistodon: after seeing an intriguing scan of this early text art illustration from #WillardSBain's 1967 #InformedSources: Day East Received, Cthulu was moved to manually reproduce it as #ASCIIart and included it in last month's new literature-themed MIST0426 artpack collection. The volume is patterned after all-caps teletype transmission by wire news services, and specifically "THE SKELETON OF THE BOOK IS MODELLED, SIGNIFICANTLY, ON THE AP REPORT FOR THE THREE DAYS FOLLOWING PRESIDENT KENNEDY'S ASSASSINATION."
