I have an x61 but it's a bit small for long writing sessions. I prefer my T61 for regular use. If I need something more beefy, it works great as a remote terminal for another machine. I get to keep using the great keyboard and smooth plastics.

@KimPerales I'ma add, economic #asceticism reduce reuse repair postpone anything except the necessary. Savings is going to be critical to a new inflationary period. A barer life is #resistance paying off debt is #resistance if you are in too deep (and who is not?) consider #bankruptcy in the next few years. A period of deep decline is a great time for a fresh debt-free start. You can count on those laws changing to be less favorable to debtors! And libraries and parks are great, wonderful life!
