I dream of the #penultimate, the penperfect, the penbeyond, which no other pen can surpass. With the penultimate in hand I could write, and what I would write! The ultimate prose, the perfect verse, tales that carry story beyond the grey bounds other pens can achieve.
I awake to the realisation that penultimate necessarily preceeds the ultimate and is ever and always but second best.

I’m going to try and avoid politics, because this seems a nice place and I can get very angry,and sad, about the state we are in. Here I’m planning to (try) to be civilised!
