    So now I’m going to swap out the potentiometers and swap in the #ArturiaKeystep and see if I can play my own synthesizer.

    If this works, it will be the first time I’ll be able to play the #synth I designed with a keyboard since 2017.

    Alright let’s review what we are working on here because it’s been a couple of months. When I last looked at this a few months ago, I had just put together the new design of my #8bit #vcdo with my diy #EZMakeOven (a reflow oven for SMT soldering)

    And because I cannibalized my test harness for another project, I hooked the new VCDO directly up to my #ArturiaKeystep

    And it was acting really really weird. I could not figure it out. I inspected the board, but nothing made sense.

    I got an #ArturiaKeystep 37 earlier this week.

    I cannot play with it for more than about 3 minutes before a kid comes up and steals it from me. If I would have known it was this much fun I would have gotten one much earlier
