I've been thinking about how recovery is never just about stopping something. It's about becoming something. Art therapy is one of those paths — reaching the places words can't reach, rebuilding identity when addiction has stripped it away. The substance was the coping mechanism. Well. Hmmm. I’m not sure what I think, or if I should do more. The foam did some cool stuff, and the ink and hot glue did some interesting things… also I seem to have painted eyes accidentally. It’s a cacophony of weird. Does it need more? Maybe it needs more.

I made art today! It's been a looong time!
I've been meaning to turn my inkblot play into posters for the home. Maybe even look at an Etsy shop or something?
I've also gotten into Stoicism and have been doing my fair share of reading on the subject to help me manage my mental health.
For now it's all just play and a brief pause from every day life but it would be fun to further explore opportunities to turn my play into posters.
