Couldn't help myself, this lovely little demoness called to me, so I gave her a shot in my own style. Took me way longer than expected, but I do love how she came out. Thank you for the inspiration, Meggles.

Just finished and shelved my 121st journal/sketchbook/art playground. I started journaling in earnest when I was 16, but there are a few earlier ones. I've used all kinds of books, but now pretty much stick to a rotation through all the Stillman and Birn softcover 8" x 10" books. # 121 was a gray toned Nova series, and I'm currently using an Epsilon series book.

Got inspired to try painting this set of antlers with wood dye and see what, if anything, would come of it. Worked out rather well. Why just dye once when you can do it over and over again! #antlers #antlerart #artsyfartsy #art #dye

I forgot I staged a little photo op for my joint on Halloween 🤭🎃💀

#Painters:

I have some brushes, acrylic paints, and some other goodies coming in the mail tomorrow.

Any #PAINTING advice for a former sketcher and inker that's trying something new?

Thanks!

Another #WindowsillGarden view from earlier today. With this one, I've warmed up the colour of the background a bit.cuz it felt right (rock garden, out of focus through grubby window).
Ornithogalum pyrenaicum . This plant had never flowered for me before (or maybe so long ago that I forgot 🤔 😆 ), and this year it has flowered twice...

What's not in focus can be just as important as what *is* in focus in a photo! In this case I like the colours and shapes of the background- it might have been ideal to *not* have the pinky blur (another bud) to the right of the #flower, but it adds to the effect of the red-brown blur looking like an alien/sasquatch 😆 #photography #Macro #BeautyInTheDetails #ArtsyFartsy

Read my ★ review of "The Whale," the most depressing, exploitative, unintentionally hilarious piece of Oscarbait in the history of depressing, exploitative, unintentionally hilarious Oscarbait. Looks like I soon will only have this account on Mastodon, due to Mastogram shutting down, which means I'll be posting my amateur photos here. Haha.

I found this one funny since it looks like a mix of my own characters Erie and beloved Gretchen from Zombillenium, so I couldn’t resist.
